CAMDEN PEOPLE'S THEATRE // 29 March 2026
work in progress performance
as part of Camden People's Theatre Starting Blocks residency programme

Accompanied by an interactive live score, SAINTMAKING is a lyrical, post-human fantasia about the body and the internet, inspired by the true story of the Patron Saint of computer programmers.

A man orders an Amazon package from the other side of the world.
A woman reads a Wikipedia article in the middle of the night.
Two strangers meet on Grindr.
And I can’t sleep: tonight is full of fibre optic dreams and nightmares of data centres.

From the Cloud high above, overlooking the small dystopias of the internet age, is the Catholic Church’s latest Saint: Carlo Acutis, the Patron Saint of computer programmers.

Combining an interactive soundtrack with an electrifying libretto, SAINTMAKING is a 21st century opera about the space between sweating and glitching, longing and hacking, in the ever-human search for a good connection.

Award-winning migrant- and queer-led company Undone Theatre is proud to present this brand new show by critically acclaimed writer and director Gabriele Uboldi and award-winning sound designer and composer Theo Foley.
